Health, Safety and Wellbeing

Your child's safety, happiness and wellbeing are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing a safe, caring and welcoming environment where every child feels valued, secure and confident to learn and play.

We have high expectations for children's behaviour and believe that learning how to stay safe, make good choices and treat others with kindness and respect begins at an early age. Through clear routines, positive role models and gentle guidance, children are explicitly taught how to behave safely, follow instructions and communicate confidently with adults. We encourage children to express their feelings, ask for help and know who they can turn to if they are worried or upset.

First Aid and Accidents

We understand that bumps and minor accidents can sometimes happen when young children are busy exploring and learning. Our staff are paediatric first aiders and are on hand to provide appropriate care and reassurance whenever needed.

Any accidents or injuries are recorded and communicated to parents in line with our school procedures, ensuring that families are kept informed.

Safeguarding and Keeping Children Safe

Safeguarding is a priority across our nursery and school. We have clear safeguarding policies and procedures in place to protect children and promote their welfare. All staff understand their responsibility to keep children safe and to provide a nurturing environment where children feel listened to and supported.

Working Together

We believe that building positive, trusting relationships with parents and carers is an important part of keeping children happy, healthy and safe.

We encourage open communication and want families to feel comfortable sharing any questions, worries or concerns, however small they may seem.

If you ever have a concern about your child's health, safety or wellbeing, please speak to a member of our nursery team. We are always here to listen, help and support you and your child.
