Clothing and belongings
We want children to feel comfortable and confident as they explore, play and learn throughout the day. Nursery life is full of exciting, hands-on experiences, so we recommend that children wear comfortable, practical clothing that they can move around in and do not mind getting a little messy!
To help your child enjoy everything Beecroft Nursery School has to offer, please ensure they bring:
- A spare change of clothes – Children love exploring our sand and water areas, and occasionally little accidents happen! Please provide a full change of clothes in a named bag.
- Comfortable clothing and shoes – We encourage children to become independent, so please choose clothes and shoes that they can easily manage themselves. Shoes that are simple to take on and off are particularly helpful when changing into our nursery wellies for sand and water play.
- A warm, waterproof coat – Outdoor learning is an important part of our nursery day, and we enjoy exploring outside in all seasons. Please ensure your child has a suitable coat for the weather.
Nursery Uniform
We also offer an optional nursery uniform for families who would like their child to wear one. Please contact the school office for further information.
Please make sure all clothing and personal belongings are clearly labelled with your child's name. This helps us make sure everything finds its way home!
